Karel Pinxten started as a partner at Buysse & Partners in June 2025. Together with Edgar Hujoel, he leads the Private Equity team.

Karel has 17 years of experience in Corporate Finance. He was a partner at Deloitte within the Advisory division and previously worked at Umicore, KBC Securities, and PwC, both in Belgium and internationally. He has built strong expertise in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. 
 
Karel holds a Master's degree in Business Engineering from the University of Hasselt and a Master's in Financial Management from Vlerick Business School.
