Alim Vandeweyer has joined the Smart Assets team at Buysse & Partners in April 2026. As Investment Director, he is co-responsible for the strategic steering of the iconic real estate portfolio.

With 20 years of experience in real estate investments, he has built a strong background in transactions and active asset management. As a Partner at Blue Colibri Capital in Luxembourg, he served as Conducting Officer for European investments and portfolio management for nearly ten years. In this role, he was a member of the investment committees and led the funds' ESG initiatives. Before that, he spent nearly ten years at JLL in Brussels in capital markets. He began his career at Ernst & Young in Brussels in Risk & Advisory.

Alim holds a Master of Science in Management from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics, with a specialisation in Finance.
