Internship – Private equity

Are you interested in gaining work experience in private equity? Would you like to help us find new investments in high-growth companies? Then we have the internship for you! We are looking for an intern for autumn 2025.

The private equity activity of Buysse & Partners mainly invests in high-growth companies with a Belgian base. In addition, Buysse & Partners also manages two real estate funds that focus on iconic and residential real estate.

The Buysse & Partners private equity team consists of investment professionals with diverse backgrounds ranging from international M&A experience, investment banking, strategy consulting and private equity. The head office of Buysse & Partners is located in Antwerp.

What does the internship entail?

You will be expected to perform a variety of tasks at Buysse & Partners:

analysis of investment opportunities
market research and industry analysis to identify the most interesting sectors
involvement in existing investment projects in our portfolio
research and preparation of presentations and reports

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who offers the following competencies:

You are a graduate or current student of a master's degree programme with an analytical and financial focus.
You already have some initial, relevant internship experience (e.g. corporate finance, private equity, strategy consulting, transaction services, etc.).
You are proficient in languages. Dutch is the working language in our office, while English is often used for research, presentations and reporting.
You have a broad interest in socio-economic topics and an analytical/critical mindset.
You are eager to learn and full of positive energy.
